Dairy | Dairy Tasmania conference off, annual awards to be held on-farm

Nominations are now open for the Tasmanian Dairy Awards.

Nominations are open for the dairy employee of the year award, dairy employer of choice award, young dairy farmer encouragement award, dairy environmental award and the dairy farm safety award.

The winners will be announced on-farm at Cressy’s Rosemount Agriculture on March 24.

Normally, the awards are held in conjunction with the Dairy Tasmania conference but with that event not being held, the reigning dairy business of the year and current focus farm will host an open day along with the awards ceremony.

There is no closing date for nominations at this stage but Dairy Tasmania asks for nominations as soon as possible.
