Meadow Foods has announced its June milk prices.

The rise of 1.25ppl means the price from June 1 will be 42.25ppl, an equivalent manufacturing litre will be 42.875ppl.

It’s the sixth consecutive month that the company has risen its milk price.

Jim Bebb, supply chain director at Meadow Foods, said: “This is our sixth consecutive monthly rise and allows us to maintain our industry leading price for milk. This offer aims to further support our producers as we are aware of the ongoing inflationary cost pressures they face on farm, alongside the cost of living challenges.

AUSTRALIA – The government of Australia has awarded funds to two local dairy companies, Purearth and Australian Consolidated Milk, in an effort to boost local milk production.
