Anyone in need of food assistance is invited to the drive-thru event on Tuesday, December 22nd starting at 11 a.m. The public should enter through Gate 7 at the New York State Fairgrounds.

No registration or paperwork is required for this distribution and no walk-ups are allowed.

All drivers and passengers must remain in their vehicles and will be prompted to open their trunk to receive food products. If cars do not have a trunk, they will be prompted to open their window.

Approximately 1,000 gallons of milk donated by Dairy Farmers of America and 2,500 pounds of sausage donated through the Salvation Army, will be distributed. Each vehicle will receive two- gallons of milk while supplies last.

Since April more than 800,000 gallons of milk via nearly 200 drive-thru and drop-off events.

Last month, 14 of our dairy farms in Maine, as well as dozens of dairy farms across northern New England, got an unexpected and disappointing notice from Danone of North America saying that they were discontinuing their contracts with our organic dairy farmers in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and elsewhere.
