United Dairy Farmers has announced a new logistics to ensure daily delivery of fresh-baked goods, keeping shelves stocked with its expanded lineup of donuts, cookies, and products across the region.
United Dairy Farmers has launched a new baked goods lineup that includes 20 unique products.

UDF is now offering a total of 20 unique products in stores: blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies (candy, chocolate chunk, Snickerdoodle, and white chocolate macadamia nut), donuts (classic glazed, jelly filled, Bavarian cream, chocolate glazed, devil’s food cake, kettle and Long John, Buckeye), donut holes (glazed chocolate, glazed confetti, and glazed sour cream), double chocolate chunk brownies, double chocolate muffins, and glazed croissants.

“Customers seem to really like the new products, and we have made them easy to find with a dedicated display,” UDF Bakery Manager Chuck Kronyak said.

During the pandemic, UDF revisited its recipes and logistics to best ensure the fastest delivery and best products from the oven to stores shelves.

UDF said because its products are homemade and are without additives, the shelf life for each product is short. By increasing the number of drivers to handle deliveries to all 177 locations was critical to making sure the baked goods lineup meets UDF standards.

“Freshness, innovation and convenience are core to our United Dairy Famers heritage,” UDF Senior Vice President of Retail and Co-owner David Lindner said. “Even with the pandemic slowdown, we continued investment and expansion in our capabilities at the bakery while continuing our recipe development to create the ideal fresh cookies and brownie products for our stores and our guests.”

UDF has 177 stores across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

While dairy exports specifically may not be on the top 10 list of things he plans to broach on his first day in office, overall trade with Canada and Mexico is top of mind.
