Include Cowpea in Cattle Feed

According to the Animal Husbandry Department, feeding cowpea grass increases the milk of the cow. Medicinal properties are found in cowpea grass increases the milk production capacity of the cows. It does not have any adverse effect on the health of the cow. The specialty of cowpea grass is that this grass is more digestible than other grasses. It is rich in protein and fiber which is essential for dairy animals.

Make Home Medicine to Increase Milk of Cow & Buffalo

To increase the quantity of milk of cow and buffalo, you can make a medicine at home. For this you will need some things which are easily available to you.

To make this medicine, you will need 250 grams of wheat porridge, 100 grams of jaggery syrup, 50 grams of fenugreek, a raw coconut, 25-25 grams of cumin and carom seeds.

First of all, cook the porridge, fenugreek and jaggery. After this, grind the coconut & mix. When it cools down, feed it to the animal. These ingredients should be fed only in the morning on an empty stomach for 2 months starting one month before giving birth to baby cow and should be fed till one month after giving birth.

25 g of carom seeds and cumin seeds each should be given only after 3 days of cow’s calf. By doing this you will soon start getting good results.

Home Made Medicine from Mustard oil & flour to Increase Milk Production

The quantity of Cow or Buffalo milk can also be increased by feeding a medicine made of mustard oil and flour.

First of all, take 200 to 300 grams of mustard oil, 250 grams of wheat flour. Now mix the two together and feed the animal in the evening. Keep in mind that the animal should not be given water after feeding the medicine.

Not only this, the medicine should also not be given with water. Otherwise the animal may have a cough problem. This medicine should be fed to the animal only for 7-8 days, after which this medicine should be stopped. At the same time, the green fodder and cottonseed meal should be continued.
