In an Instagram-shared video, a tea stall vendor in Amritsar is seen taking us through the process of preparation of this unique blend of Amul Butter Chai. The process involves pouring packets of milk into a container, adding rose petals, various masalas, tea leaves, sugar, and a unique touch of mixed almonds and dry fruits. The highlight comes when a scoop of butter is added to the container, followed by the dry fruit mixture, tea, a thorough stir, and the presentation of the piping hot concoction.

The video has garnered 364,874 likes since being posted. As this unique tea variant gains attention, the discourse surrounding Amul Butter Chai has intensified.

“Don’t understand the criticism in the comment section. He added dry fruits, and rose petals to the tea, these ingredients are common in Kashmiri chai. Although the addition of butter could be new? But overall looks good to me,” said an user.
